ANIMATION FINAL PRESENTATION
ALL Final Capstone presentations will be held on... AGENDA You will have only 5 minutes to pitch and show your progress. (that is all the time that is allowed to get through everybody) This short time frame is good as it only allows only essential information and clear evidence of your work, in a time frame that is similar to making a pitch for an animation producer. you must arrive PROMPTLY at 8AM to begin presentation! This presentation is worth most of your grade. You have received reports on your week to week progress. The Final Day Presentation expects that you have made completion of you intended goal whichever leg of Capstone Production you are on. your presentation will recieve: up to 62 Points based on... *Technical Competency, Professionalism of the Work/Animation (12.4) *Interest, Appeal, and Tone of the Work/Design (12.4) *Clear Communication of Story/Ideas/Meaning (12.4) *Overall Progression and Development (12.4) *Creativity and Signature Use of Content (12.4)
IF YOU ARE ON YOUR THIRD CAPSTONE: you must write a written THESIS/STATEMENT (one to two page). This will complete 2 pecent of your grade. The text must include aswers to these questions somewhere in its body: (1) Explain succinctly the Initial concept of your Capstone Project and your early reference sources and motivations. (2) How and why did you considered on choosing the subject matter that you did? (3) How and why did you use a particular medium (2D/3D) or other specific tools to serve your idea. (why did that particular medium best suit your subject or the specific way you work?) (4) What level of success do you feel you project has acheived? what areas would you improve/change if you had the time? (6) What kind of audiences will you be able to reach with your finished Capstone project. (ie: short film festival? commercial? art gallery? is it for your demo reel ?) (5) what do you feel, in retrospect, could have improved the production flow of your Capstone experience. What if any mistakes or victories have you made that you would like to tell new Capstoners about, and or share you experience about. This paper is due on Finals Day, by ALL 3rd time Capstoners.
